Microsoft Bringing Out a New Wi-Fi Adapter
Posted by Drew Robbins on 09.16.2009

In case you haven't already paid the ridiculous $100 to get yourself a Wi-Fi adapter, Microsoft is putting out a new one? Why you may ask? No, unfortunately it is in no way a price-drop on the accessory. Rather, it is an upgrade on the existing Wi-Fi adapter that allows you to access HD content from the Zune Store.

Basically, the old accessory uses more ancient methods of Wi-Fi connection, so this serves as a mere upgrade to the connection compatibility, making the streaming of HD content from the Zune Store a feasible process.

No release date is confirmed, as the device is currently being checked out by the FCC.

I have both 360 and PS3 and love both systems equally but goddamn Microsoft likes to pennypinch the consumer for every freakin dollar they can!
