Resident Evil: Afterlife Confirmed

Fourth film officially announced, along with new cast member…
Sony Pictures and Screen Gems have officially come out and said that Resident Evil: Afterlife, the fourth film in the fickle series, is now in the works.
Rumors of the fourth film have been circulating around the Internet for quite some time now, so it shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone that Paul W.S. Anderson is back to destroy… I mean direct another Resident Evil film.
The film, which is scheduled to hit theaters in the fall of 2010, will be shot in 3D and will reunite cast members Milla Jovovich as Alice, Ali Larter as Claire Redfield and Spencer Locke as K-Mart. Actor Shawn Roberts will be taking over the role of good ol' Albert Wesker and Wentworth Miller, from Prison Break fame, will portray Chris Redfield.
Honestly, Miller doesn't seem like a bad choice to play Chris, he kind of looks like the character after all (check out the picture above), but no matter whom they get to star in this film, I'm not sold.
How about the ladies and gents out there? Are you excited about the fourth film?

I still haven't taken the time to watch the 3rd. I've rented & never watched it as well as DVR'd it when it was on Cinemax and never watched it.

Degeneration was a CGI film, that one doesnt count towards the live action films.

just another reason for Anderson to get his no-talent wife another role. No wait, it's the same damn role she's played in every one of her movies. The "Ultimate Weapon".
