BattleForge Goes Direct X 11
Posted by Jon Seddon on 10.06.2009

Phenomic's free strategy, game will be making use of both Direct X 11 and AMD's ATI graphics chips to deliver unrivalled visuals including features such as high definition ambient occlusion, which apparently makes shadows look more realistic.

"BattleForge was EA's first Play4Free game and being able to support DirectX 11 this is another significant first for the title," said Ben Cousins, General Manager of BattleForge and Battlefield Heroes at Electronic Arts. "The enhanced capabilities of DirectX 11 and the new AMD cards combine with the depth and intensity of BattleForge to create an experience which is truly unmatched in the Play4Free space."

BattleForge is a Play4Free game which combines elements of strategy, fantasy and card trading within an online environment enabling single player, co-operative and PvP matches to take place. If the thought of mixing MMO with RTS and card collecting is your bag then take a look at www.battleforge.com.
