BattleForge Goes Direct X 11

EAs BattleForge is their first game to support Microsoft's Direct X 11
Phenomic's free strategy, game will be making use of both Direct X 11 and AMD's ATI graphics chips to deliver unrivalled visuals including features such as high definition ambient occlusion, which apparently makes shadows look more realistic.

"BattleForge was EA's first Play4Free game and being able to support DirectX 11 this is another significant first for the title," said Ben Cousins, General Manager of BattleForge and Battlefield Heroes at Electronic Arts. "The enhanced capabilities of DirectX 11 and the new AMD cards combine with the depth and intensity of BattleForge to create an experience which is truly unmatched in the Play4Free space."
BattleForge is a Play4Free game which combines elements of strategy, fantasy and card trading within an online environment enabling single player, co-operative and PvP matches to take place.
