U2 Wants Rock Band Treatment
Posted by Adam Larck on 10.07.2009

It seems that another band wants the star treatment that Rock Band just gave The Beatles. Talking to USA Today, bassist Adam Clayton talked a bit about getting U2 into a future Rock Band game.

"We definitely would like to be in there, but we felt some compromises weren't what we wanted," he said. "That could change. I love the idea that that's where people are getting music, and we'd love to be in that world. We'll figure something out. What The Beatles have done, where the animation is much more representative of them, is what we're interested in, rather than the one-size-fits-all animation. We didn't want to be caricatured."

Apparently, he was concerned with the previous movements that Rock Band games had, and liked The Beatles design style better. Would you pick up a U2 Rock Band if it was ever made?

Once the Pearl Jam Rock Band comes out and I pick it up...Im officially done with the genre, no reason to get anything else.

Not opposed to U2 though...as long as they keep bono's mullet strong from the 80's im all for it!!

Hey, you guys can go to town. Have your own little Wussy Rock Festival '09. "CATORCEEEEEEEEE" or whatever the fuck. I'm sure it would sell well.

I'm just saying I wouldn't go anywhere near it.
