Kojima Teases Huge Surprise for MGS: Peace Walker
Posted by Trace Aber on 10.15.2009

In this week's edition of Famitsu, Hideo Kojima was quoted as saying, "there's an unannounced system that will surprise you. It will make you want to rush out and buy a PSP."

Not a whole lot is known about the "unannounced system," but what do you, the 411 readers, think it could be?

No idea, so I'll make a wish and ask for special connectivity with the PS3 that enables you to play the game on a flatscreen, with upgraded MGS4 quality graphics. Also, I'd like a pony.

Snake will go through the game using nothing but magic spells and collecting mana to perform more magic spells

That you can hook your PSP up to PS3 and play it on the TV, because that's the only thing that will make me buy a PSP

Well if the past is any indicator, it sure as hell won't be a coherent plot.

You can already hook your PSP to the TV without a PS3 though

Still have not finished MGS4. So I don't care, yet.

"Well if the past is any indicator, it sure as hell won't be a coherent plot."

Yeah, that is what I want. I want a Metal Gear Solid game that is created for the lowest common denominator. Seriously, if you have trouble understanding the plot of MGS, I guess you aren't what we call "the best and the brightest of us."

Why don't you write to Kojima and ask for MGS: For Stupid? Or, you can ask him to make some Cliff Notes for you. He may be nice enough to oblige to people when their intelligence is grossly inadequate to understanding a simple video game.

I think the surprise is that it will play on a PSP. So if you want to play the game, you will have to buy one. There, surprised spoiled.

Or it will contain a Nintendo DS emulator.

Or or, I don't care.
