Space Invaders Extreme 2 Set For 10/20
Posted by Jeffrey Harris on 10.15.2009

Square Enix announced today that Space Invaders Extreme 2 will be shipping to retail stores on October 20 for the Nintendo DS portable game system.

Players will once again get the chance to fight the alien assault of invaders risking "Game Over" if they lose all their stock cannons. The new game will feature multiple modes of play such as single-player challengers, Score Attack, and Time Attack. There are also multiplayer options so you can compete against your friends using the Nintendo DS Wi-Fi connection and get your score applied to the global leaderboard.

Space Invaders Extreme 2 was developed by Taito and will be published by Square Enix.

Geez, it's been long enough since the Japan DS version was released. For those of you who haven't already snapped it up from Play-Asia back in April 2009, I highly recommend doing so now.
