Final Fantasy XIII News!

Oh like you need a teaser. IT'S FFXIII NEWS!!!

Do you read Famitsu? I'm going to bet that most people just said "No". Well then aren't you lucky I'm here to dish all the latest news on the über-anticipated Final Fantasy XIII, straight from Tetsuya Nomura and Motomu Toriyama?

Who wants some fun character trivia? Oh come on, you all do. Oerba Yun Fang, the hot black-haired character from the TGS trailer is a l'Cie like Snow and the rest of the main cast, but is seemingly pro-government. Well she wasn't always the hottie, unless you're into guys (not that there's anything wrong with that, even if you're male). Nomura says that when they made her female, they figured she might as well be sexy. This led to a change in the Lightning character, making her less...provocative so as to give the two characters a distinct feel. Also, Nomura revealed that Sazh's character setting was initially even further out to lunch. Yes, worse than a guy with a Chocofro. A Chocofro with a hoodie over it maybe? No, a hat. I kid you not.

Toriyama was in a giving mood when it came to revealing a character. Well, dropping a huge hint to one anyway. He said that a familiar character will have a role in FFXIII, which most are taking to mean the ubiquitous Cid. What's that? No he didn't actually SAY that, but I mean who else could it be? Cloud? Please.

Toriyama also hgave up some tech specs. Game saves will weigh in at 500kb, while trophies will be just over 3Mb. Oh, and you won't have to worry about incessant "Loading, please wait..." screens. Toriyame states that the only load screens will be on the transition from town to field. This was something they cleaned up early to make the game as smooth as possible.
