Frogger Returns On WiiWare and the Playstation Network

Konami announced earlier this week that Frogger Returns will be released on Nintendo WiiWare and Playstation Network. Based on the original arcade classic, Frogger Returns will deliver dodge-and-run style gameplay on a new platform.

Frogger Returns features new improved graphics, camera angles, and levels. Obstacles such as streets, sewers, subways, and more will try to keep Frogger from getting home. The game will also feature new power-ups like time reverse, invincibility and time freeze to help Frogger during the game.

The game will feature 3D graphics 12 times the size of the original and local multiplayer capabilities. Players can compete against each other in timed capture-the-pad races and getting the highest score.

Frogger Returns will be available for download later this year on Nintendo WiiWare and the PlayStation Network.
