Nintendo has announced their weekly downloadable content which should provide some excellent choices for DSi owners and Wii owners alike.
Spark Snapshot (500 DSi Points) - Allows you to take a photo and embellish them to your heart's desire. Choose from a large variety of frames and accessories to customize any of your photos. Turns your DSi into your own handheld photo booth.
Viking Invasion (800 DSi Points) - Olaf the Viking and his motley crew are descending upon your kingdom and it's up to you to construct fortifications to prevent them from pillaging everything you own. The more you defend yourself, the more ferocious they'll become. Discover more than 10 levels, tons of units, a Campaign mode, a Survival mode and three difficulty levels. There's even a little surprise at the end. Can you rise to the challenge and stop Olaf from taking your treasure home to his sweetheart Olga?
Battle of Giants: Dragons - Bronze Edition (800 DSi Points) - As the last of the Bronze Dragons you must defeat the evil SALMU dragons and reclaim the 25 exclusive bronze gems they stole. You can explore 10 maps and travel through the great jungles of Earth, the scorched grounds of Fire, the frozen wastelands of Ice and the floating islands of Wind. You can also test your battle skills against friends one on one or in four player tournaments.
Carnival King (700 Wii Points) - Fun for all ages, this game brings carnival games right to your screen. Choose from three different amusement parks with four sets of games each anda Bonus Round to test your speed and accuracy.
"Aha! I Got It!" Escape Game (500 Wii Points) - Play alone or with family and friends to solve this puzzling adventure game. You play as Milo who got a room full of puzzles for his birthday - you must solve all of the puzzles by shaking, pushing and twisting the Wii Remote to use in game items and escape from the room.
Family Card Games (500 Wii Points) - Try your hand at one of three card games: Daifugo, Speed or Memory.
Fighting Street (800 Wii Points) - A port of the arcade version of Street Fighter. Play as either Ryu or Ken and battle against fighters from all over the world.
R-Type (500 Wii Points) - The classic side scrolling arcade shoot-em up that has been available on every other online system is now available for the Wii Virtual Console. I'd say more but honestly you should know what R-Type is, and you should own R-Type.
