No Plans for Little Big Planet Sequel

Level designer claims it would be counterproductive.
It seems that Media Molecule is content with their first try on Little Big Planet.
Danny Leaver, the level designer, told Critical Gamer that the company would "never want to do that" when referring to a sequel.
"That'd be the most counterproductive thing you could do I think," Lynagh said. "I think what you've seen so far from Little Big Planet, that's the way it's going to continue."
Media Molecule is still giving strong support for fans of the game, with water levels coming soon and the PSP game in a few weeks.
What do you think? Is this a smart move by the developers?
I completely agree. What could they possibly add to a sequel in terms of gameplay mechanics that are not already there? Anything else is simple DLC, no need for a new game.

Very strong move, unlike other companies who dont know when to stop and instead focus on a new idea... like Final Fantasy, Resident Evil, Street Fighters.

Alright, fine, dont make a sequel but DO make more level packs a la MGS. that was awesome! and there are LOADs of other options: Dead Space, Resident Evil, Batman, Assassins Creed...
