Electronic Arts Closing Down Pandemic Studios

Last day for developers today.
It seems that Pandemic Studios last day is today, as sources close to them say that owners Electronic Arts are closing them down.
Pandemic Studios, which made Star Wars: Battlefront and Mercenaries, will have most of its staff of around 200 people laid off, while the few that stay on will become part of other EA development teams.
Pandemic's remaining IPs, including The Saboteur, will be passed to EA's Montreal studio, the developers of Army of Two.
Pandemic was founded in 1998 and, after a successful run of the games mentioned above and Full Spectrum Warrior, was bought by EA in 2007. However, after the purchase the company released a few mediocre sequels before having to cancel their planned Dark Knight game, which set the company back quite a bit financially.
