Facebook Definitely Coming To The PSN

Looks like the rumors were true...
Sony today confirmed that the social networking site Facebook.com will be making an appearance on the PSN via the next firmware update. Sony say that by linking your PSN account to your Facebook account you will be able to update your friends on your PlayStation Store and Trophy activity.
Developers will also be given the option of incorporating the use of Facebook into games by setting criteria within their games that will publish items to your news feed.
This is apparently the first stage of the integration of Facebook into PSN, with further enhancements being planned for the future.
It's going to make a Facebook post when you buy something from the store? That's the kind of pointless spam that people block lol
Updating trophies is fine - just have it set to do it once a week or something.

It is superior to the 360 version because it is actually allows intergration (the same thing can be said for Uncharted 2 and Twitter). The 360 version only allows you to browse Facebook. That is full of fail right there...

The whole consoles and facebook is full of fail. Instead of wasting time with this crap they need to come up with better ways to make gaming better because looks like its starting to decline

Meh, couldn't you already access Facebook on the PS3's internet browser?

MM,
You can only look at your page. You cannot add, comment, or really do anything now. They took those features away a few months ago (around the time Facebook was announced for the 360).
