New service offers in-game rewards for accomplishments
Ubisoft announced today that owners of Assassin's Creed II on the PS3, Xbox 360 and (at launch) PC can use an in-game interface to connect to the Uplay beta.
Uplay is Ubisoft's service that allows players to connect to four main services: Uplay Win, Uplay Help, Uplay Share and Uplay Shop.
Uplay win will be the first to launch. It will give players in-game content and items through a reward-based system for completing objectives throughout the game.
For ACII Ubi is offering content such as an Altair costume and access to the Auditore Family Crypt, the press release states. Players can also save their Uplay points for other, upcoming Ubisoft games.
Yeah. I've tried to use this UPlay stuff so far, but I think I haven't earned enough points to really do anything with it. :-( I need to play some more ACII.
