No More Heroes Going HD
Posted by Joe Roche on 11.18.2009

It was only a matter of time – but Suda 51's highly regarded Wii series "No More Heroes" is not a prisoner to the Wii any longer. It was announced today that "No More Heroes" will be coming to the PS3 and Xbox 360 through enhanced ports. The new title No More Heroes: Heroes' Paradise will include updated HD visuals, a full Japanese voiceover (the original had an English language track). There will also be an unlockable "Very Sweet" mode where you'll find the game's female cast dressed in sexy swimwear and other outfits. Japan will get No More Heroes in HD on Feb. 25th but there is no word on when the North American release will be.

"It was only a matter of time – but Suda 51's highly regarded Wii series "No More Heroes" is not a prisoner to the Wii any longer."

A "prisoner?"

Amend that to "the only platform willing to license and market high-concept/zero-play value shitware like Killer 7 and No More Heroes while putting Suda over as the Adam Lambert of the game design culture" and I think we're cookin' with gas.

Seriously, the guy is an absolute joke. The only difference between him and American McGee was that the latter actually produced a bankable title before succumbing to his own hype.

Hopefully, the game crashes and burns on the multi-platform, and we can be spared another year of "I'm leaving the band"-type gibberish from the guy about how the Wii's been holding him back. Though the option to gawk at polygonal tits is a tough one to pass up.
