Celebrity Cast Announced for Mass Effect 2

Bioware has announced the celebrity cast list for Mass Effect 2. Standout names include Martin Sheen who will play the mysterious commander of the Cerberus paramilitary organization, Seth Green who will play Jeff "Joker" Moreau, Shohreh Aghdashloo who will play Admiral Shala'Raan vas Tonbay, Keith David who will play Admiral David Anderson, Carrie-Anne Moss who will play Omega's ruling crime lord Aria T'Loak, Tricia Helfer, Michael Hogan, Michael Dorn, Yvonne Strahovski, and Adam Baldwin.
Those Bioware idiots! Can't they understand that people don't give a shit who voices what as long as they're competent? All the money paid to these people could have been saved by hiring no-name but capable voice actors and they could have increased the salary of the guys who are actually working on the game.

Awesome, Michael Dorn continuing the Star Trek TNG connection to Mass Effect. You KNOW Bioware is doing that on purpose.

I agree with you as far as hardcore gamers go. But a good voice cast has potential to attract the casual gamers.

If you look at the cast list from the first game, half of these people did the voices then.

Fail. People care. I care and I consider myself a hardcore gamer (depsite being poor as hell). I was buying this anyway but I will be more likely to check it out close to release rather than wait for a price drop because Baldwin will be a main cast member...
I (know I'm alone) really dislike the Halo franchise and actually ran through ODST because and ONLY because Fillion, Tudyk, and Baldwin voiced for it.
