Right...
Clearly, he doesn't keep up with the information about the number of games that the Wii moves. The Wii-play is the number one unbundled game of all time.

I do not think it will do Halo 3 numbers but I wanna play the game Hopefully its better then ODST

Considering Halo is an X-Box exclusive game, this could be off. But I'm sure it will do staggering numbers in terms of percentage of X-Box owners who buy the game, like Halo 3 did. While ODST just expanded on Halo 3's engine, Reach will use a completely new engine and should peak the interest of the wide Halo audience. Considering Halo 3 sold 8.1 million copies, I'm predicting Halo: Reach will do 7.5.

Super Mario Galaxy 2, Metroid: Other M, Monster Hunter Tri, God of War 3, MGS: Rising, Bayonetta, Tatsunoko vs. Capcom, Last Guardian, Dante's Inferno, Mass Effect 2, Red Steel 2, Sin & Punishment 2, Alan Wake, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, Super Street Fighter 4, Dead Space 2, Dead Rising 2, RE5: Gold Edition, Pokemon Heart Gold/Soul Silver, Bioshock 2, Yakuza 3, Fist of the North Star, The Grinder, No More Heroes 2, Fragile, Ace Attorney Investigations, Mega Man 10, Cave Story Wii, Super Meat Boy, Monado: Beginning of the World, Final Fantasy XIII, Epic Mickey, Max Payne 3, Red Dead Redemption, Golden Sun DS, Dark Void, Arc Rise Fantasia, Tales of Graces, Project Needlemouse, Alpha Protocol, Samurai Shodown Next Gen, Starcraft II, the Next Call of Duty, Guitar Hero 6, Rock Band 3, Madden 2011, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2011, any other EA, 2K sports, Smackdown vs. Raw 2011, Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep, Resident Evil Portable, MGS Peace Walker, Fable 3, and Zelda Wii (if it happens) > Halo Reach
Suck it Halo Fanboys. Halo is an overrated Game Series, and Reach will do nothing to contribute gaming, but instead ruin it with the plague known as "Halo Fanboys".
TL;DR = Halo Reach isn't going to be the biggest game of 2010.

i hate to agree with him, because i hate halo, but he's right. if it's 1 thing microsoft know how to do it's advertise. and i know that they will market the fuck out of this game. it wont matter if its shit. it's halo. it'll be all over every forum, video site, banner ads, magazines. it will sell well because they will tell us to buy it.

Doubtful. There are too many amazing games coming out.

Even though it was unbundled to a console Wii-Play still came with a free controller so yeah it's technically bundled.

Even if you count WiiPlay, it sells what - 100,000 a month now? In the 12 months of 2010 it would move 1.2-2 million (giving it a big Christmas bump) units.
Reach is going to do well over that. ODST was seen as an expansion pack and still did over 1.5 million in 10 days or so on the charts. Halo 3, the last 'full' game, did 3.3 million in its first charting and with somewhere around twice the installed base from that point, Reach should do even better.
The only real competition in terms of NPD numbers might be God of War or Final Fantasy, but Sony's huge franchises haven't been selling giant numbers to this point and the RPG genre isn't quite what it used to be either.

Well the book was (brace yourself) pretty well written so if its based off that it should be pretty good.

This game is called Halo Reach for a reason. Microsoft and/or Bungie is just Reaching for that last little bit of milk to squeeze out of the franchise.
And it will most definitely not be the biggest game of 2010. It will most definitely beat of God of War in sales, and might have a fighting chance against FFXIII....but Starcraft? Let's be real...

Define big. When it doesn't top the sales chart, I'm sure he has room to "say what he meant" No exclusive can compete with any big multi-platform game, or did not the release of Modern Warfare 2 teach him anything?

Tatsunko vs Capcom? (which sold 100thousand so far in Japan where these characters are popular). Sin and Punishment 2 (a sequal to a decade old cult hit)? Golden Sun DS? Samurai Showdown? Are you serious? Not that games like this won't be good but they have no chance of matching Halo in terms of sales.
The only games on your list with a chance are... Bioshock 2 and God of War 3. If we're talking world wide sales Galaxy 2, FFXIII, and Pokemon Gold/Silver may have a chance.

So, it is going to sell in excess of 24.43 million?
1. Wii Play (Wii – 24.43 million)
2. Wii Fit (Wii – 22.5 million)
3. Nintendogs (DS – 22.27 million, all five versions combined)
4. Pokémon Red, Blue, and Green (Game Boy – 20.08 million approximately: 10.23 million in Japan, 9.85 million in US)
5. New Super Mario Bros. (DS – 19.94 million)
6. Mario Kart Wii (Wii – 18.36 million)
7. Super Mario Bros. 3 (NES – 18 million)
8. Brain Age: Train Your Brain in Minutes a Day! (DS – 17.41 million)
9. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (PS2 - 17.33 million)
10. Pokémon Diamond and Pearl (DS – 16.81 million)
The only NON-Nintendo game on the list is San Andreas for the PS2. Do you know what is Xbox 360's number one selling game of all time? Halo 3 at 8.1 million. That isn't even close to the top 20.

"So, it is going to sell in excess of 24.43 million?"
Are you retarded? I only ask because I can't imagine any other reason why, when talking about a game being the biggest of *****2010*****, you'd talk about LIFETIME sales numbers.

"Nice ad hominem."
Do you have a better explanation for why you'd be talking about a TOTALLY DIFFERENT METRIC?
