New Update For Left 4 Dead 2 PC Version

A new customs map is now available!
Ben Gilbert of Joystiq.com reports that Left 4 Dead 2 on the PC just got a huge DLC update that offers authoring tools for custom campaigns and a new support package that allows gamers to play custom games. This support package will allow games to run any map on the game including custom maps made for the first Left 4 Dead.
This includes things like the Mushroom Kingdom (with zombies) and Lego (with zombies), which will all be playable in the new game. The Left 4 Dead 2 team has asked in return that you play your custom maps and mods in their game specifically.
The PC version is the premier version to play it. Just look at the cluster * that is Unreal Tournament 3 on the 360. If you are going to buy a game that was made for the PC, why wouldn't you just buy the superior PC version? You don't get a gimp version of the game because Microsoft hates freedom.

Microsoft hates Freedom...that's why they allow this game to be run on Windows based PCs that use Windows based operating systems and Windows based authoring tools.

I guess the 360 just isn't capable of running free user-created applications. Again, PS3 > 360.

Man, you must feel smug with your copy of Left 4 Dead 2 for the PS3.
Oh wait.
