Voice of Duke Nukem Drops Hints on Duke Nukem Forever
Posted by Chris Lansdell on 01.07.2010

I'm not going to let this die folks!

Jon St. John, who provides the voice for Duke Nukem, was asked at a panel discussion about Duke Nukem Forever. Here's what he had to say:

"I'm not allowed to speak on that subject, sir. He's asking about Duke Nukem Forever, let me go ahead and tell you right now that I'm not allowed to talk about Dukem Nukem Forever. No, no, don't be disappointed, read between the lines…why am I not allowed to talk about it?"

So, everyone who said it was never coming out...wanna bet me a case of beer?

There is no way it can live up to its hype. Although I hope it does.

Can't live up to its hype? since when was it even hyped? almost everyone expects this game to be an average FPS - if it ever comes out

I think Duke Nukem could still have legs as a franchise, if anyone EVER does something with it. It could be a breath of fresh air from the super serious shooters.

The reason he can't talk about it is because there's litigation between Take-Two and the former 3DRealms over the project folding. Nothing more to see here....

If the development team was at all competent the game would have been released by now. Obviously it will be shit.

Is some kid gonna code it in his basement? Last I heard that company folded trying to just release the game.
