Zelda Wii Not Coming Out Until It's Perfect

Nintendo COO says it's what fans expect...
It's not unreasonable to demand perfection, as long as you realise it's unattainable and will settle for near-perfect. With that in mind, Nintendo President and COO Reggie Fils-Aime's recent comments on Zelda Wii should be music to our ears. Speaking on the Nintendo Weekly Show (available on YouTube), Fils-Aime has this to say:
"Right now, it's still in development. But the key message that Mr. Miyamoto and Mr. Aonuma is telling us is that it really has to be perfect when it launches. That really is what the Zelda fan is expecting.
So for all of those Zelda fans out there right now, I would say enjoy The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks, and know that the Zelda title for Wii is going to come out when it's perfect."
Well OK, great. Except...didn't your CEO Satoru Iwata say that the game will ship before the end of 2010? There's no official release date yet, but this sure seems to be a case of left hand-right hand.
