Posted by Adam Larck on 02.08.2010

The weekly Nintendo update is upon us, with a game that came in under the radar this weekend.

Blaster Master: Overdrive can be picked up on the WiiWare for 1,000 Wii Points. A sequel by Sunsoft, this game looks to have everything that fans of the original game love. If you want to check it out first, a demo of the game is also available.

Also on WiiWare is Tomena Sanner a platforming game that will run you 500 WP. For puzzle fans, the fun online game Bloons can be picked up for the same amount. Bloons also comes with a level editor for players to make their own levels.

Rounding out the WiiWare updates is Hubert The Teddy Bear Winter Games. the game comes with a variety of minigames, such as fishing, snow fighting and Christmas tree decorating. Like the previous two, this will set you back 500 WP as well.

The lone Virtual Console release this week is Princess Tomato in Salad Kingdom. Coming from the NES, this game will set you back 500 WP.

On the DSi side, Fieldrunners can be picked up for 500 DSi Points. The same game on the iPhone, this tower-defense game has you defending your field against waves of enemies.

Also this week for the DSi is Oscar in Movieland, a platformer that has players going through various themed areas and costs 800 DSiP.

Rounding out the DSi choices this week is Link ‘n' Launch (500 DSiP), a puzzle game, Sudoku 4Pockets (500 DSiP), another Sudoku game, and Extreme Hangman (200 DSiP), based off the classic Hangman formula.
