More Details on EA's Plans For 2011 Fiscal Year
Posted by Chris Lansdell on 02.08.2010

Some more detailed information from EA's quarterly earnings conference call:

- Dead Space 2 and a Dragon Age: Origins sequel were announced

- The EA-Epic co-produced title from developers People Can Fly is likely to be Bulletstorm, which had been leaked via a trademark application

- APB and the new Medal of Honor game are set to release between July and September

- NBA Jam, Crysis 2 and The Sims 3 Console Edition are set for a holiday release.

- EA reported revenue of $1,3 billion for Q3 of the 2010 fiscal year, with a loss of $82 million. That's a huge improvement over last year's $641 million loss.

- The forecast for Q4 is strong, with Mass Effect 2, Dante's Inferno and Battlefield: Bad Company 2 all releasing in the period.

- Two new EA Sports Active are planned for Q3 of the 2011 fiscal, which puts them right in line with the release of Natal and Sony's motion controller.

- Every title released during the 2011 fiscal year will have an online component, both DLC and online play.
