Next Assassin’s Creed Set in Rome

Game will star Ezio, feature multiplayer.
New details came out today about the Assassin's Creed game which will release later this fall.
The game will still follow the second game's protagonist, Ezio. However, this time Ezio will be taking out targets in Rome, the place of the Templars' headquarters. Also, the game will not tie into the DLC that recently released.
Ubisoft also briefly mentioned the multiplayer. One of the new modes in it will be called Assassination Mode. While not much else was said about it, Ubisoft also mentioned that new releases often include cooperative multiplayer elements. This could be a hint that you and a friend will be able to take out targets together.
