Evo 2010 To Get Web And Cable TV Coverage
Posted by John De Large on 07.06.2010

The Evo Championship Series, known to many as "that tournament where that guy parried a bunch of kicks," will be available to watch this year via webcast on G4TV.com. You can also catch an Evo-related special on G4's on cable television.

This was announced through Capcom's Unity blog. A related press release guaranteed that there would be 45 hours of live online streaming, starting July 9th and ending on July 11th. Also, a 30-minute special will air on July 20th on G4. This special will cover the history of the tournament and recap the finals.

The 2010 Evo Championship Series will take place in Las Vegas, with gamers facing off in the following games: Super Street Street Fighter 4 (PS3), Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo HD Remix (PS3), Tekken 6 (PS3), Marvel vs. Capcom 2 (PS3), Melty Blood: Actress Again (PS2), Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars (Wii).

Attendees will also have a chance to try a demo of Marvel vs. Capcom 3, making the event the first time the game available to the public.
