Mass Effect 2 Coming to PS3 Next Month

Look for Mass Effect 3 reveal Saturday.
PlayStation 3 owners, your wait is almost over for Mass Effect 2.
While speaking with IGN, Electronic Arts said the game will be released on Jan. 21 for North American and European gamers. The release will include plenty of bonus content, and an interactive comic to fill players in on the first game.
Also of note is the rumor that Mass Effect 3 will be revealed Saturday at the VGAs. Not only that, but, according to Joystiq, the game will feature multiplayer, a first for the series.

With the others, as somebody that has beaten ME2, 3 times, going through another playthrough, and needs just one more after that I'm sad about multiplayer. This game doesn't need it at all.

Three player co-op multiplayer, a la Borderlands = Epic Win.
Competitive multiplayer tacked on because MoH bombed and EA has an obsession with beating CoD = Instant no buy and boycott of every EA product from now to the end of time (shouldn't be too hard - the only EA game I've bought in the past two years is ME2).

i have no problem with the multiplayer as long as they didn't change the actual game, ala they didn't remove the characters and RPG aspects, thats what set ME apart from the rest of the pack. they'd be stupid to go away from what made them stand out
