Mass Effect 2 Cerberus Network Closing

More content on the way.
Not even part of EA's project $5 incentive will last forever.
The Cerberus Network, which gave a few free downloadable content packs for Mass Effect 2 and updates about the universe, will be ceasing service after the one year anniversary on Jan. 24.
After Jan. 24, the Network will only be updated three more times. "A week of posts will precede a downloadable content release, and two more weeks will lead up to the release of Mass Effect 3," the Cerberus Daily News said.
There's been no word as to what the content will be, or when it will be available.
Why would anyone drop the extra money in the future if you can't even keep the thing up for a decent amount of time?

They didnt keep it up for a decent amount of time? It was up for a year. Thats more than enough time for people to buy the game and use the service. The network is essentially worthless now as once again the game has been out for a year along with the DLC. Just download the DLC straight from the Xbox Live Marketplace

I have the collector's edition I hadn't even opened yet... I guess I should do that for the free stuff at least.
