Modern Warfare 3 Getting Dedicated Servers

Only coming to PC.
Unlike Modern Warfare 2, the next entry in the series will have dedicated servers on PC.
Jay Frechette said at Gamescom that dedicated servers will be free to PC gamers at launch.
The main advantage of dedicated servers are that custom maps and rules can be used, which may cause a problem with Call of Duty Elite getting ready to launch and hand out prizes for in-game performance.
