Batman: Arkham City Adds 'New Game Plus'
Posted by Todd Vote on 09.07.2011

Rocksteady Games is looking to add some replay value to Arkham City by introducing the 'New Game Plus' mode. The mode will unlock after beating the game. It is being said that 'New Game Plus' will turn up the difficulty, making boss fights and thugs a bit harder to get by. For example, there will not be a counter icon that appears above the enemies. Alternately, Batman will retain all of his XP and unlocked gadgets from the first play through.

It was noted that 'New Game Plus' did not have an adjustable difficulty level. Whether your first time through was on normal or hard, the new mode stays the same.
