Activision Announces Skylanders Giants

Will feature bigger Skylanders.
Activision has announced a sequel to Skylanders today called Skylanders Giants.
The game, set to release later this year, will have eight new toys. Each will be "more than twice the size" of the normal figures both in real life and in game.
The figures will also have lights that turn on when placed on or near the Portal of Power.
If you already own the first game, don't worry. Your characters can be used in the sequel and all stats will be kept.
