Silicon Knights Ordered to Destroy Unsold Games Using Unreal Engine 3

Things have gotten worse for Silicon Knights after a US court order.
The company must now destroy all games not sold using Unreal Engine 3, including Too Human, X-Men: Destiny and unreleased titles Siren in the Maelstrom, The Sandman and The Box/Ritualyst.
Silicon Knights must let the court know on Dec. 21 and Feb. 21, 2013, on how the injunction has been carried out.
In addition, the company must pay $4.7 million to Epic as well. In May, the court ordered Silicon Knights to pay Epic $4.45 million in damages also.
The case started in 2007 when Silicon Knights sued Epic Games for alleged breach of license. Epic countersued, stating that Silicon Knights illegally used the Unreal Engine 3 in other games.
