BioWare Confirms Mass Effect 4 is in the Works

Mass Effect 4 has officially been confirmed. Producer Casey Hudson posted to Twitter that the game was in development and that he was soliciting feedback from fans in terms of what they wanted to see:
We're in early stages of designing a completely new Mass Effect game. What would you want to see in it?
Thus far fans have suggested multiple playable races, the Prothean/Reaper war storyline and going away from the third-person shooter gameplay style.
