Star Wars: The Old Republic Free-to-Play Option Launches Today

Bioware, Electronic Arts, and LucasArts announced today that the Free-to-Play option for the MMO Star Wars: The Old Republic is now live.
Players can now play the game in all eight Star Wars classes all the way p to level 50 for free.
Matthew Bromberg, General Manager of Bioware Austin stated, "We want to give our players the freedom to enjoy Star Wars: The Old Republic when and how they want. There has never been a better time to start playing with us."
Bioware also released Game Update 1.5: HK-51 Activated. The new update adds new areas to explore, a new Companion character and more including:
You can earn control of the Assassin Droi HK-51.
You can now explore Section X, a previously untouched area of the prison world of Belsavis. If you secure a target for the Dread Masters', you will receive a nice reward.
Operation: Explosive Conflict in Denova with Nightmare Mode. The team who completes this new mode can earn the final pieces of the Dread Guard gear set and a brand new mount.
