Wii U Moves 400K Units in Week

Meanwhile, Wii sold 300K units in same week.
Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime told CNET that the Wii U sold 400,000 units in the first week in the US.
During that same time, the Wii sold 300,000 units and portable systems sold 500,000 units.
"Wii U is essentially sold out of retail and we are doing our best to continually replenish stock," Fils-Aime says. "Retailers are also doing their best to get the product to store shelves. But as soon as product hits retail, they're selling out immediately."
I don't know about you, but quite a few stores around me still have multiple systems in stock. Still, a strong start for the Wii U.
