Halo 4: Spartan Ops Picking Back Up Next Year

The multiplayer event resumes in January...
It has been confirmed that the Halo 4: Spartan Ops multiplayer event will pick back up on January 21st. Digital Spy reports that Developer 343 Industries confirmed the news at the Spike Video Game Awards, with the series's first season finishing up with five entries.
Developer 343 has also hunted at a second season, which may be announced after the first season concludes. Halo 4 won Best Xbox 360 Game and Best Graphics at the VGAs.
