Possible Image Tease for The Witcher 3

A hint at the next installment of The Witcher franchise...
An image has made its way onto The Witcher 2 community site. The new image is believed to be a hint at The Witcher 3 by developer CD Projekt.
The image looks to be a sword hilt that belongs to the game's protagonist Geralt of Rivia. The image was released alongside a statement regarding the REDKit beta. The development team refused to reveal the source of the picture.
The statement reads, "Oh, and if you are wondering what's that in that picture above - well, we'll leave it for your imagination to answer. :)."
Last year, CD Projekt suggested The Witcher 3 was in development for the studio.
