[VIDEO] New Crysis 3 Nanosuit Trailer, Multiplayer Beta Set for January 29

Electronic Arts and Crytek GmbH announced this week that the open multiplayer beta for the sandbox shooter Crysis 3 will be available starting on January 29 for the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC. The beta will give gamers to test out the powers of the Nanosuit. The new multiplayer beta will be available for two weeks and give players a chance to get a head start before the official Crysis 3 launch on February 19 in North America and February 21 in Europe.
Regarding the multiplayer beta announcement, CEO of Crytek Cevat Yerli stated: "With Crysis 3 we are delivering the deepest, most robust Crysis multiplayer experience yet. We have listened closely to our fans and have evolved the multiplayer in Crysis 3 by adding a host of new gameplay features including the unique Hunter mode, deadly new weapons like the Predator bow, deeper loadout and unlock options, enhanced upgrade systems and more social features like the New York Feed. Top it all off with the ultimate weapon in the Nanosuit and you have a multiplayer experience that is unlike anything else out there."
The Crysis 3 multiplayer beta will feature two of the eight modes included in Crysis 3. For Crash Site, players have to secure and defend specific locations and can earn points for their kills and ability to hold their locations. In Hunter Mode, debuting for Crysis, you will have an asymmetrical mode that puts two players against ten (two vs. 14 on the PC) with two cloaked hunters with only the Nanosuits and Predator bows stalking 10 opposing CELL troopers. In this mode, once a CELL trooper is killed, that player will respawn as a hunter and join the others in their fight against the remaining CELL troopers. The beta will also have two of the game's twelve multiplayer maps with the Airport and Museum.
The multiplayer beta will also include the in-game social feed called the New York Feed.
