Far Cry 3 Sells 4.5 Million Copies, Sequel Confirmed

Ubisoft's game is a big hit...
Ubisoft has announced that Far Cry 3 has sold 4.5 million copies and that a sequel is on the way. Yves Guillemot said during an investor meeting that the open-world shooter performed "way ahead of expectations" and would receive a sequel according to CVG.
Guillemot added that there will be a shorter turnaround time between Far Cry 3 and 4 than the four years between Far Cry 2 and 3. The report also noted that Assassin's Creed 3 has sold 12 million copies, Just Dance 4 has reached 8 million in sales and that Assassin's Creed: Liberation for Vita has sold 600,000.
