Microsoft Looking To Make Content For Xbox

All Things SD reports that Microsoft is attempting to create content for the Xbox once again. They now have a 125-person studio in Santa Monica.
Entertainment and digital media president Nancy Tellem said at an interview at D: Dive Into Media: "We're certainly looking at a very robust production schedule."
She didn't outline the budget for the project but said they are looking at making scripted interactive content. When asked about why they want to make content instead of partnering with studios, Tellem (former president of CBS Network Television Entertainment Group) said Microsoft could make more interactive content. She added: "Particularly when you are looking at the younger demographic, interactivity is a natural extension of what they do."
She said the content could be anywhere from ten minutes to an hour and a half. It will likely be a part of Xbox Live. Finally, she said she is hoping to release the content this year.
