January NA Wii U Sales Under 100K

Nintendo has slow month with system.
According to Gamasutra, Wii U sales were "well under" 100,000 in North America.
The company spoke with someone that saw the NPD data, stating that the figure is between 45,000-59,000 units.
If this number is true, the Wii U sold less than the PS3 or 360 ever has in a month. This could be one of the reasons the console is now expected just to ship 4 million units by the end of March instead of the previous 5.5 million units.
