New Xbox to Be Announced in April?

Microsoft is expected to reveal the new Xbox in April. CVG has spoken to several developers and industry professionals who believe that Microsoft will announce the next-gen console at a media event similar to Sony's PS4 announcement this past week.
Whether the April announcement was the original plan or whether it is a reaction to Sony's PS4 reveal is unclear but a source within Sony says that they believe they caught Microsoft off guard with the announcement, noting, "We definitely ruffled some feathers."
The new Xbox is expected to launch this coming holiday season and may feature Kinect 2.0, 3D technology and the long-rumored Xbox TV.
