The Walking Dead: Season 2 Game Not Due Out Until Late 2014
Posted by Jeffrey Harris on 03.06.2013

EuroGamer recently spoke with TellTale Games' CEO Dan Connors who revealed that fans shouldn't expect Season Two of The Walking Dead's episodic videogame until late 2014.

Connors stated, "We're aiming for fall next year. [The second season] will be more related to our stuff than the show, but any time we can get close to the show, we love that."

He also admitted he wasn't sure yet if season two would be released on the PS4, saying, "I would think so, though, but it's all going to depend on timing I guess. But we don't have enough information from [Sony] to announce it or anything." Connors did add that he likes the PS4 and is excited about what it can do for connected experiences. He hinted that the PS4's functions could be used for tracking community stats for the game. He stated, "But at the same time we're going to continue to support everything else."

Connors went on to say: "We're going to have an opportunity where we're going to be able to move onto the next generation of platforms and support the existing platforms all the way down to phone and it's going to give us a real opportunity to manage the transition in a way I've never seen in my career, and I've been through like four of these, so I'm really excited about the opportunity."

Connors also talked about more content to be released before season two, saying, "We'll probably have something to announce fairly soon about what we're going to do. It'll be different."
