Star Wars: Battlefront III Still a Possibility?

It could depend on another game's success...
A new report suggests that Star Wars: Battlefront III may still come to pass. Kotaku reports that the upcoming XBox Live Arcade game Star Wars: First Assault may be a predecessor of sorts for Battlefront III.
According to the report, if First Assault is released (still not a certainty) and does well then Bettlefront III could follow. LucasArts apparently began work on the shooter with plans of using the code as a base for Battlefront III.
First Assault is set to support as many as sixteen players devided into two teams, one of rebels and one of Stormtroopers, as they fight on Star Wars worlds like Bespin and Tatooine. The game has no vehicles, though vehicles are rumored to have already been prototyped for Battlefront III, and no Jedi. Of course, all of this is up in the air due to Disney's buyout of LucasArts and the rumored shift to support the upcoming Episode VII.
