Creator gauging fan interest in another sequel...
Game designer American McGee polled fans on Facebook if they would be interested in Alice 3 and possibly funding the game on Kickstarter.
According to McGee, Electronic Arts currently has the rights to make a third Alice game, and he wanted to gauge fan interest for a third game in the franchise. McGee stated: "Alice Fans, questions for you: If we could get the rights from EA, would you play Alice 3? If you'd play Alice 3, would you back it on Kickstarter? If you said 'yes' to those two things, make some noise - I'm trying to gauge interest in case I happen to discuss this with EA during GDC in 2 weeks. The more interest there is, the more seriously they'll take the conversation."
The post has been liked 1,000 times so far on Facebook and has been shared close to 300 times and generated a great deal of positive feedback.
The game franchise is a twisted version of Lewis Carroll's Through the Looking-Glass and sees an institutionalized Alice enter a darker, edgier version of Wonderland. The last game, Alice: Madness Returns, was released on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC in 2011.
