A zombie horror crossover extravaganza...
The Resident Evil and Left 4 Dead video game franchises are about to collide. Capcom and Valve have announced a crossover project titled the "Resident Evil 6 x Left 4 Dead 2" project, which will see characters from Left 4 Dead 2 featured in the upcoming PC version of Resident Evil 6 while the already-released PC version of Left 4 Dead 2 will get enemies from Resident Evil 6. All content will be available free for players of either game.
Players of Resident Evil on 6 will be able to select one of the four heroes from Left 4 Dead 2 (Coach, Nick, Ellis and Rochelle) when playing the PC-specific "The Mercenaries No Mercy" mode. Each character will have access to a special customized weapon set created for use in Resident Evil 6. In addition, the Witch and the Mini Tank zombies from L4D2 will appear in the game mode. TRhe content will be downloaded automatically to all owners of the game.
Meanwhile, L4D2 will get Resident Evil 6's enemies Lepotitsa, Napad and Ogroman.
