SimCity Surpasses 1.1 Million Sales

Only took two weeks.
Despite massive launch problems, EA has announced that SimCity has sold 1.1 million copies in two weeks.
Of those purchases, 54 percent were downloads, with 44 percent of sales coming directly through Origin.
In addition, EA announced the free game owners can get through Origin for the launch problems. For registering the game before March 25 at 11:59 p.m. PDT, gamers can choose from Battlefield 3, Bejeweled 3, Dead Space 3, Mass Effect 3, Medal of Honor Warfighter, Need for Speed Most Wanted, Plants vs. Zombies and SimCity 4 Deluxe Edition. The offer ends at 11:59 p.m. PDT March 30.
