Blizzard Announces New World of Warcraft 'Virtual Realms' Feature
Posted by Jeffrey Harris on 06.12.2013

Blizzard has announced a new feature for their next World of Warcraft 5.4 patch.

Some concerns were recently raised over the dwindling populations across numerous realms, suggesting realm merges to help aid the problem.

In the patch notes, Blizzard writes: "Virtual Realms are sets of realms that are fused together, and will behave exactly as if they were one cohesive realm. Players on the same Virtual Realm will be able to join guilds, access a single Auction House, join arena teams and raids, as well run dungeons or group up to complete quests."
