The game is doing well…
Deep Silver and Volition announced today that Saints Row IV has sold more than one million units in its first week of retail availability.
The PC version of the game has more than tripled its first week's sale numbers over the prior release of Saints Row: The Third by THQ.
Speaking about the announcement, Klemens Kundratitz, CEO of Deep Silver parent company Koch Media stated, "We are incredibly happy of the reception for Saints Row IV as a critical and now a commercial success. The development team at Volition is second-to-none as a driving creative force in the entertainment industry and we are very proud to have them as part of the Deep Silver family."
The online community for the game at SaintsRow.com also saw its registrations increase by a million in the first week of release for the game, amounting to more than 1.3 million user accounts for the game in total.
