Dice making fixing of glitches and errors their top priority…
CVG reports that Dice is planning to put all expansion pack development for Battlefield 4 on hold until they are able to fix the errors that have been affecting the game since the title launched.
An EA spokesperson stated: We know we still have a ways to go with fixing the game - it is absolutely our #1 priority. The team at DICE is working non-stop to update the game. Since Battlefield 4 China Rising expansion pack was already in the final stages of development by the time issues began with Battlefield 4, we decided to fulfill our promise to deliver it this week, but we're not moving onto future projects or expansions until we sort out all the issues with Battlefield 4," said the rep, confirming that all other development is currently on hold. We know many of our players are frustrated, and we feel your pain. We will not stop until this is right."
Battlefield 4 has been dealing with a multitude of issues since the game launched. Problems included server instability, lag during gameplay, corrupted save data, XP loss, and complete system crashes on a reportedly regular basis.
Dice said they fixed the "most common" stability issues for the PS4 version of the game, but many other issues have persisted.
