It's something they're thinking about...
Gamespot reports that during last week's Spike VGA awards, Respawn Entertainemnt revealed that it was considering a beta period for its Xbox and PC multiplayer shooter Titanfall.
Co-founder Vince Zampella said that while there is nothing to announce at the moment, "we're definitely thinking about it." He also said that the Xbox 360 and Xbox One versions will not have Kinect because it "didn't fit the game".
Respawn has also announced tow new titan classes for the game with Ogre and Stryder. The Ogre class is slower but heavily armored while the Stryder class has more speed, acceleration and agility than the other titans. Once Ogre is unlocked it can be used whenever the player chooses. More titans may be announced later.
Zampella has said that the game is "content lock", which means the content and features are done. The only things left to compete before the March 11, 2014 release date is balancing and testing the game.
Meanwhile, a new teaser phone number tied to the fictional Hammond Robotics company has debuted, at 1-888-88TITAN. Some people hae said that if this number is called from Canada, it will connect to an adult phone line.
