Fifth New Ultra Street Fighter IV Character to Come From Comic Books
Posted by Jeremy Thomas on 01.05.2014

The fifth mystery character for Ultra Street Fighter IV is set to be a character from the franchise's comic book line. Siliconera reports that they have been tipped off to new details around the character, which Capcom recently revealed would be a female.

According to the site, the character is in the comic books and is making her fighting game debut with the latest entry. Their source says that the character is a Capcom character who "isn't on anyone's radar" and is "a perfect fit for the Street Fighter universe."

Shoryuken suggests that the character is probably Sarai Kurosawa, who appeared in UDON's comic book series as well as Ibuki's Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike. Sarai had a camo in Street Fighter x Tekken, which is where the first four new characters--Rolento, Elena, Hugo and Poison--all featured.

Ultra Street Fighter IV will release in the June on consoles following a Japanese arcade release in April.
