Star Wars and Marvel Characters Coming To Disney Infinity
Posted by Joseph Lee on 02.04.2014

The Wall Street Journal (via Superhero Hype reports that Star Wars and Marvel characters are set to appear in Disney Infinity. Fans and even the developers (as of last year's E3) have been wondering when the Disney-owned characters would arrive on the game.

A source said: "New versions of Infinity featuring characters from Disney's Marvel superhero unit and the Star Wars universe it acquired along with Lucasfilm in 2012 are being developed."

It's unknown if the "new version" is an expansion of last year's game or if it will be a sequel.

The game allows players to create stories and play experiences featuring Disney and Disney/Pixar characters from Pirates of the Caribbean, The Incredibles, Monsters University, Cars, Toy Story, The Lone Ranger, The Nightmare Before Christmas and more. It is currently available for the Wii, Wii U, Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Nintendo DS, PS Vita and PC. It has sold over three million copies worldwide since it debuted in 2013.
